Hydroflex Skate Deck

This deck, made by Hydroflex Skateboards, consists of various colors of resin which are shot into a mold containing a PET foam honeycomb mesh and layers of triaxial fiberglass. This unique manufacturing process gives their boards a unique honeycomb pattern with an interesting topography visible through the resin. The pattern really stuck out to me and that was the basis of the grip tape design.

After riding for a few months, all of the grip tape remained on the deck, even the tiny bits towards the nose.
